Final update from Tim in Kosovo
We had an in door picnic today (Saturday) because it is raining. We had chicken & sausages grilled, Greek salad, peppers, (peppers are a big deal here), bread & all kinds of snacks.
I feel like we are almost done – Tim Osborne (lead pastor from Mosaic) & I will each give a short talk tomorrow (Sunday) at their 5 pm church. 7-8 minutes plus interpretation so around 15 minutes each.
The English classes were high points for me; it was great to interact with the students. I was known as “Tim the bald one” and Tim Osborne was “the one with hair”–Carrie’s humor! One 20 something young man invited me to coffee; we were joined by 2 other young men from Kososvo and Tim O. We visited for about an hour at an out door coffee shop… the weather was warm all week until Sat.
Thank you for your prayers! Sunday night we will not sleep a the hotel because we have to leave for the airport around 2am; therefore we’ll check out of Hotel Sunday late morning. It will be a very long day. Pray for us on Monday that we’ll travel safely and that we’ll arrive with out getting sick.
