Update from Tim in Kosovo
Our lead pastor, Tim Saur, joined Mosaic Church on a trip to Gjilan, Kosovo to encourage the missionaries we’re supporting over there as they host an Art Camp for all of the local children. Below is an update from his second email to us.
We have been very busy interviewing artists all week (we had 4 interviews today). This afternoon and evening we are helping out the English classes – one of them was Carrie’s class (the Compass missionary we support monthly). Carrie is a very good teacher, and as we parted company this evening she thanked us for loving on her students. She loves her students, and I think they know it. We also attended Exchange – which is an hour of talking in English with some Kosovar people. A directed time of conversation around a story and answering questions. I throughly enjoyed this. In the afternoons, our artists are presenting in the Art High School. In the evenings they are giving workshops for both students and professional artists. Overall so far this has been a very successful missions trip.
In case you were wondering from the first email, Tim’s luggage arrived Sunday afternoon. Praise God! Check out photos of their trip at https://www.facebook.com/mosaicportland
