Discipleship Groups
This type of LifeGroup exists for people to discover God through prayer, bible-study, and caring relationships. In the context of these groups we hope that people will be discipled in:
- their need for a Savior
- knowing God as Creator and Lord of the Universe in the midst of a personal and prayerful relationship with Him
- discerning the Holy Spirit’s movement in their lives
- knowing themselves as God’s redeemed creation and His living testimony to the world around them
- understanding and living out basic biblical truths

For adults, single or married
Topic/Focus: going through the Tim Keller book: “Gospel in Life”, and spending time in prayer
Meeting Day & Time: Tuesday evenings from 6:30pm-8:00pm
Where: Compass meeting room in the basement
Childcare: Will be provided for $5/family per meeting
Cost: minimal cost for the book
For mom’s of all ages!!
Topic/Focus: to genuinely care for moms of all ages through biblical guidance and encouragement
Meeting Day & Time: Wednesdays 9:30am-12:00pm
Where: Compass Church
Childcare: Yes
Cost: $2.00/child (up to $4) a week
For women of all ages
Topic/Focus: going through a book called “The Transforming Power of Prayer: Deepening your Friendship with God” by James Houston
Meeting: STARTING IN JANUARY/Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:15
Where: West Vancouver
Childcare: babies under 6 months of age are welcome to come with their moms
Cost: minimal cost for the book
For all parents of teenagers
Topic/Focus: raising teenagers to have a heart for Jesus and God’s Word
Meeting Day & Time: Wednesdays 7:00pm-8:30pm
Where: Compass Church
Childcare: None under 6th grade; this group is during student ministry night
Cost: none
