Alisa was a high school math teacher from 2000 to 2009 before deciding to find a career in which she could minister to teenagers on a deeper, spiritual level.  She has been volunteering in student ministries since 2000 and spent many of those years under the supervision and experience of a highly experienced youth pastor.  Alisa has been in the Student Ministry Leader-in-Training program since September 2011 in order to serve and disciple the youth of West Vancouver.  Currently, she is also a part-time student of Multnomah Biblical Seminary and appreciates studying God’s Word.  In her spare time, Alisa reads, connects with family and friends, bakes, and walks.
